Pleasant on it's own though it makes a nice partner for fresh fish served with a summery salad. Also worth trying with smoked salmon frittatas.
The grapes are crushed and pressed at our Auckland winery upon arrival. To enhance the varietal flavour expression, fermentation takes place in refrigerated stainless steel tanks at cool temperatures using a variety of yeasts. After 2 months on lees the blend was assembled and bottled.
The aroma is gooseberry and cut grass with underlying tropical fruits. The palate is soft, mouthfulling and juicy - good fruit intensity with red apples and melon standing out. Well balanced acidity and herbal notes combine to make this a delightfully refreshing wine.
